Общество актуариев по страхованию от непредвиденных ситуаций* (профессиональная ассоциация, ставящая своей целью содействие развитию актуарной науки в области имущественного страхования и страхования от непредвиденных ситуаций; участвует в разработке и содействует поддержанию высоких стандартов актуарной деятельности путем организации образовательных программ и проведения квалификационных экзаменов; создано в 1914 г. под первоначальным названием "Актуарное и статистическое общество Америки по страхованию от непредвиденных ситуаций" (Casualty Actuarial and Statistical Society of America); текущее название получило в 1921 г.)
